All substances, including alcohol.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-step facilitation, group therapy, individual counseling.

Detox-medically managed withdrawal management; inpatient-24 hour care, includes housing; outpatient-group counseling multiple hours per day/week, patients live at home or in sober housing.

Does Alpine Recovery offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?

We offer Suboxone, buprenorphine, though we are not a typically MAT program.

What relapse prevention strategies does Alpine Recovery use?

Helping patients identify their triggers and how to cope with those triggers in a healthy fashion.

How does the staff handle withdrawal symptoms during detox?

We do not offer detox; patients are referred to detox facilities to manage withdrawal symptoms.

What therapies are offered for substance use disorder?

Group, individual counseling. CBT, 12-step facilitation, trauma-informed care.

What is dual diagnosis treatment, and how does Alpine Recovery approach it?

We are not a dual diagnosis facility; however, we will coordinate care with mental health providers.

Does Alpine Recovery treat anxiety, depression, and PTSD?

No

How are co-occurring disorders diagnosed and managed?

Patients are referred to a mental health provider to manage mental health conditions; if co-occurring SUD and MH treatment is in the patients best interest, a referral will be made to a co-occurring treatment facility.

What types of therapy are used for mental health treatment (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.)?

We refer out all mental health inquiries.

Can clients receive ongoing mental health counseling after discharge?

No, though we will have mental health counselors on staff in the near future.

What is the difference between inpatient and outpatient treatment at Alpine Recovery?

Alpine Recovery only offers outpatient treatment.

How does the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) work?

Typical programs are 4-5 days per week; 4-5 hours per day. Additional hours can be scheduled if appropriate.

What is included in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?

Typical programs are 4 days per week; 2.25 to 3.25 hours per day.

Does Alpine Recovery offer aftercare or alumni support?

Alpine Recovery does not offer alumni support. We do offer aftercare program, including relapse awareness, continuing care (basic life skills).

Can clients transition between programs as they progress?

Yes, clients transition between levels of care as medically appropriate.

How long does treatment usually last at Alpine Recovery?

At the highest level of care, a typical length of stay is 9 months to 2 years.

Are there gender-specific or specialized programs available?

Not gender specific. We do have a relapse awareness program.

Does Alpine Recovery offer virtual or telehealth treatment?

Appointments with our medical provider are virtual. On rare instances, individual sessions can be scheduled virtually. Alpine Recovery services are primarily in-person.

What happens after completing treatment at Alpine Recovery?

Patients use the skills learned at Alpine to maintain long-term recovery. Alpine is always open to talking with patients who have been discharged.

Yes, both.

Not directly at Alpine, however, we do discuss these types of activities with our patients.

Family members are welcome to attend the first hour of group each Wednesday night during IOP.

Can assist with managing cravings, triggers, and emotions. Helps build self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Do clients participate in 12-step or non-12-step programs?

Patients are required to attend 2 sober support meetings per week, in addition to treatment. This can be AA/NA/CA/Dharma Recovery.

How does trauma therapy help support recovery?

Can help patients process distressing events, teach coping skills, and reframe negative beliefs.

What is the role of clinical assessments and progress tracking in treatment?

Patients are assessed throughout their treatment programs and transitioned to a higher or lower level of care as appropriate.
